I’ve been enjoying the exact same breakfast of porridge with peanut butter for at least the past month. Many of us simply must have something naturally sweet after dinner (even Oprah!) and most of us have our favorite coffee shop we visit each day. Certain rituals bring comfort, but there’s fine line between ‘ordered eating’ and ‘disordered eating’.
Disordered eating interferes negatively with our health, work and relationships. Being too ordered can lead to obsession. Can you consciously allow flexibility into life and be okay with what’s available? Challenge yourself to enjoy new styles of food- just like when you’re on holidays in a new location. Even venture to a different coffee shop… it might just become your new fave.
